Yes. Does it do it well? Yes. Is it some type of neat metallic Transformer Movie like device? No. It's made out of rubber and basically bends into the shape necessary to hold your digital device. So, it's disappointing and I think very overpriced in terms of Form but perfectly okay in terms of Function. If it were made in China it would cost less than 10 cents to produce. It is made in America, so if it costs 10 times as much to produce and you add in the packaging, it's still overpriced. Rating: 3 / 5 Does it do everything it claims to do. Yes. Does it do it well? Works great, stands steady and in landscape mode I have no problem charging it using the car charger. It is so light and very neat. I would recommend it to anyone. May be a little bit pricey, but that is up to you to decide. <br /> <br />[EDIT] I have not secured the stand anywhere to the vehicle. But, I do have the car charger attached to it most of the time. This item is pretty good but I like the other much better as it's easier to use and looks better....also holds my i-pod better...but this item is not bad.
